Connie Jo Lawson, 65, of Seymour formerly of Columbus, died at 4:20 p.m., Saturday April 13, 2013 at her home.
Connie had been a hairdresser since the age of 17 and was a member of the Corvette Club.
A graveside service will be conducted at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Bethel Baptist Cemetery with the Rev. Doran F. Chambers officiating.
Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and 9 to 9:45 a.m. Wednesday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.

Connie was born in Columbus on July 31, 1947 the daughter of Dwain and Grace Lawless Wagner.
Survivors include her son, Steven C. (Carrie) Lawson of Seymour; sisters, Debbie (Rod) Davidson of Columbus and Tammy (Dennis) Reedy of Columbus; a grandson, Cavien T. Lawson; and her companion, John P. Schoettmer of Seymour.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Joe M. Lawson on February 20, 2005; and a nephew, Michael P. Davidson.
