Christy Dawn Eastham, 37, of Indianapolis, died at 8:15 a.m. Friday, April 12, 2013, at St. Vincent Hospice of Indianapolis.
Christy was a CNA and had worked for Kindred Care of Indianapolis and Marquette Manor. She had also worked for Goddard Day Care Center because of her love of working with children and giving of herself for the children. She was a member of Ogilville Christian Church, where she was baptized, and was a 1994 graduate of Columbus North High School.
A Celebration of Life will be held at 7 p.m. Wednesday at Hathaway-Myers Chapel on Pearl Street with Pastor Marty Wright officiating. Calling will be from 4 p.m. until service time Wednesday. In keeping with Christy’s wishes, cremation is planned. Inurnment will be later at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Vincent Hospice.

Born in Bartholomew County Dec. 26, 1975, Christy was the daughter of Phillip J. and Irene J. Geoffrey Eastham.
Survivors include her mother, of Taylorsville; a brother, Brian Eastham, Bartholomew County; an aunt, Connie Coy, Edinburgh; a goddaughter, Precious Blythe of Indianapolis; friends, Michelle Blythe and Grace Martin, both of Indianapolis; a cousin, Jeff Coy of Bloomington; nephews, Ethan and Nolan Coy, both of Bloomington; and a great-uncle, Jerry Fife of Columbus.
She was preceded in death by her father; grandparents, John and Dorothy Fife; and an aunt, Thelma Fife.
