Marianne M. Taylor, 91, of Columbus, died at 1:05 p.m. Tuesday, April 16, 2013, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
Marianne retired in 1983 as a Material Control Planner at Cummins Engine Company where she had worked for 31 years. She was a member of Columbus Chapter No. 339 Order of Eastern Star, a lifetime member of East Columbus United Methodist Church and enjoyed reading.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Garland Brook Mausoleum Chapel with the Rev. Michael D. Myers officiating. Family and friends may call from 11:30 a.m. until service time Friday. Entombment will be at Garland Brook Mausoleum.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana or to the donor's choice of charities.

Born in Columbus June 2, 1921, Marianne was the daughter of Charles Otto and Grace Edith Nickerson Moore. She married John R. Taylor November 21, 1947. He preceded her in death August 15, 2003.
She was a loving mother and best friend to her only daughter, Roxanne Schultz of Columbus. Other survivors include her brother, Donald (Joan) Moore of Saint Augustine, Florida.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, a sister, Pauline Swaim, and a brother, Robert Moore.
