Betty Lou Thomas, 92, of Columbus, died at 1:45 p.m. Friday, April 12, 2013, at Keepsake Village of Columbus.
She was a loving mother and homemaker, and a member of East Columbus Christian Church.
A celebration of life service will be at 6:30 p.m. Monday at Hathaway-Myers Chapel on Pearl Street with the Rev. Robert Y. Lim presiding. Calling will be from 4 p.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home.
In keeping with Betty’s wishes, cremation is planned. Inurnment will be at Garland Brook Mausoleum.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Born in Crawfordsville Jan. 9, 1921, Mrs. Thomas was the daughter of Carl and Bernece Nay Smith. She married Richard C. Thomas in 1949, in Franklin. He preceded her in death in 2001.
Survivors include daughters, Patty (Mike) Morgan, Columbus, and Connie (Robert) Davidson, Anchorage, Alaska; a grandson, Patrick (Samantha) Morgan, and a great-grandson, Braxton Morgan, both of Columbus
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and two brothers.
