Gary P. Seegers, 65, of County Road 650N, passed from this life at 3:42 p.m. Tuesday, April 30, 2013, at Kindred Hospital Indianapolis South in Greenwood.
Mr. Seegers was a member of the Indiana Army National Guard and was employed in the new products department at Cummins Engine Company's Mid-Engine Plant at Walesboro, where he had worked since 1995.
A sports enthusiast, Gary enjoyed hunting and watching his grandkids participate in their sporting events.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Pastor Mike Weiler officiating. Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday. Cremation will take place after the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society.

Born in Seymour November 18, 1947, Gary was the son of Garnet W. and Jennie Sackett Seegers. He married Nina J. Green September 13, 1975.
Survivors include his wife; children, Nichole Clipp, Leslie Seegers-Douglas and Corey Seegers, all of Columbus; grandchildren, Cody and Nikia Clipp, Kaylyn and Taylor Darnell, Bryleigh Binney, and Braden and Lucas Seegers; a sister, Kyra Bode of Columbus; a brother, Bill Seegers of Westport; and several nieces and nephews.
Mr. Seegers was preceded in death by his parents and twin children, Michael and Michelle Seegers.
