Betty J. Schultz, 76, of Cincinnati, Ohio, died at 4:47 p.m. on Monday, April 29, 2013 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
Betty was born in Birmingham, Alabama on November 22, 1936 to the late Jake and Florence Banks. She worked at and was the former owner of Whitehouse Grocery Store in Cincinnati. Betty enjoyed country music, shopping, going out to eat and loved spending time with family and friends.
A memorial service will be conducted at 1 p.m. on Thursday, May 9, 2013 at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Harold Summers officiating.
In keeping with Betty's wishes cremation is planned.
In lieu of flower memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Judy (Ronnie) Hignite of North Vernon; a son, Scott Shultz of Cincinnati; grandchildren, Sarah Cartwright, Jason Hignite, Richard Evans, Samantha Evans, Amanda Schultz, Emily Schultz and Drew Schultz; 9 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; a brother, Jr. Banks of Alabama; and several nieces and nephews.
Betty is preceded in death by her, husband, Earl Evans in 1985; a son, Larry Evans in 1987; husband, Ed Schultz in 2001; a sister, Helen Evans; and a brother-in-law, Ralph Evans.
