Ewing E. "Pete" Noe, 77, of Columbus, died at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, May 9, 2013, at his residence.
Pete was born in Blackwater, Virginia, August 19, 1935, to the late James Ruben and Rosa Lee Bledsoe Noe. He married Geneva Coffey December 23, 1966, in Columbus.
He retired from Reliance Electric and was a member of the Glorylanders Gospel Band, Columbus Eagles Lodge and Columbus Moose Lodge.
Funeral service will be conducted at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Gill Hahns officiating. Family and friends may call from 12:30 p.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Pete is survived by his wife, Geneva Noe of Columbus; a daughter, Judy (Charles) Townsend of Columbus; grandchildren, Angela (Earl) Bontrager of Hope, Shila Ault of Florida, and Christina Reeves of Columbus; great-grandchildren, Deseree Ault of Florida, Danielle (Greg) Drysdale of Hope, Adam Ault of Florida, Levi Bontrager of Hope, Shyann Ault of Florida, Caylin Reeves and Ryan Reeves, both of Columbus; a great-great-grandson, Xavier Drysdale; six great-great-grandchildren; a sister, Ellen Pauline Gilliam; and several nephews, nieces, friends and family.
Pete was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Charles Noe, Glen Noe, Howard Noe, Ernest Noe, and John W. Noe; and sisters, Bertie Hurd, Della Vaughn, and Rebecca Noe.
