Edna Mae Vance, 72, of North Vernon, died Friday, May 10, 2013, at St. Vincent Hospital in Indianapolis.

A graveside service will be held at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Indiana Veterans Memorial Cemetery. The Rev. Ron Bridgewater will officiate.

She is survived by her husband, Johnnie Vance; a son, Johnnie Vance Jr., of North Vernon; daughters, Debbie (Jeffrey) Feaster of Franklin, Denise (Martin) Quintana of Junction City, Kan., and Melissa (Randy) Gross of North Vernon; brothers, Bill Tippitt of Sunman, Jim Tippitt of Cincinnati, Ohio, and Ray Tippitt of Lawrenceburg; a sister, Pat Cowans of Lawrenceburg; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a son, Michael Vance, and an infant son.

Memorial contributions may be made to Komen for the Cure or Children's Childhood Cancer Foundation.
