Carol M. "Sis" Moore, 75, of Road 300 South, died at 6:50 p.m. Friday, May 10, 2013 at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Mrs. Moore was a homemaker and did alterations at Dell Brothers for several years.
She served on the Elizabethtown Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary and was a former secretary for the Women's Bowling Association. She was a member of Columbus American Legion Auxiliary. Her hobbies included ceramics, making jewelry, knitting, and camping.
The funeral will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with William Lykins officiating.
Family and friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday and from 9:30 a.m. until service time Wednesday.
Burial will be at Springer Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made the American Diabetes Association.

Born in North Vernon June 28 1937, Mrs. Moore was the daughter of Raymond and Marie Scherschligt Day. She married Jerry A. "Doc" Moore November 26, 1955.
Survivors include her husband; children, Dennis (Lisa) Moore of Elizabethtown, Timothy (Kelly) Moore of Taylorsville, Thomas (Teresa) Moore of Columbus, and Linda (Johnny) Bennett of Columbus; a sister, Tish Gosman (Larry Campbell) of North Vernon; brothers, Raymond Day of Crawfordsville, Jake Day of Columbus, Norman "Butch" (Joyce) Day of North Vernon, James (Peggy) Day of North Vernon, and Bernie (Linda) Day of Trafalgar; 13 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Moore was preceded in death by her parents; sisters-in-law, Jessie and Judy Day; and a nephew, Doug Day.
