Born in Cadillac, Michigan, in 1926, to Ralph and Genevieve Teetor, Marian Teetor Chambers died Tuesday, May 14, 2013.
Her parents and her siblings Jim, Tom, Sally and Tink, preceded her in death.
She is survived by children, Margaret and Jerry Moody, Rob and Jeannine Chambers, Libby Chambers and Carolyn and Ned Searles; grandchildren, Martha, Jonathan, Jamison, Varrick, Jessie, and Alex; and a great-granddaughter, Gwen.
Marian graduated from Vassar College in 1946, always remaining very active in the alumni club, including serving as president. Prior to raising her children in Columbus, Ind., she was a devoted kindergarten teacher.
She moved to Fort Myers, Fla., where she donated many hours for Good Wheels and Hope Hospice.
A memorial service will be held at the Village Church in Shell Point Retirement Community May 25 at 1 pm.
