Lourdes Casado Lockhart, 88, formerly of McClure Street, died at 9:40 p.m. Saturday, June 8, 2013, at Willow Crossing Health & Rehabilitation Center.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Thursday at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. Jerry Day Sr. and the Rev. Virgil Clotfelter officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and one hour prior to the service Thursday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Garden City Church of Christ, Bible Church of Columbus or Flintwood Wesleyan Church.
Born in Manilla, Philippines, Jan. 22, 1925, Mrs. Lockhart was the daughter of Raymond Casado and Carmen Canovanos Casado. She married Herschel Lockhart. He preceded her in death Nov. 18, 1980.
Survivors include a son, Harold (Penny) Lockhart, Columbus, IN; daughters, Fran (Larry) Harrison and Cecilia (John) Morris, both of Columbus, IN, and Maria (Max) Shepherd, Hartsville, IN; grandchildren, Eric Shepherd, Doug Harrison, Ginger Harrison-Smith, Matthew Morris, Carrie Ann Morris Saunders, Jen Morris, Mark Morris, Joshua Lockhart, and Cassie Lockhart; and great-grandchildren, Morgan Harrison, Jacob Smith, Victoria Smith, Gabby Saunders, Kaelee Saunders, Addie Saunders, and Alissa Jones.
She was preceded in death by her husband and her parents.
