William A. England, 84, of Autumn Ridge Drive, died at 9:45 p.m. Tuesday, June 11, 2013, at Willow Crossing Health & Rehabilitation.
Mr. England retired from Cummins Engine Company and was a member of Friendship Missionary Baptist Church.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Danny Edwards officiating. Friends may call from 11:30 a.m. to time of service Friday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.

Born in Cave City, Kentucky, March 8, 1929, Mr. England was the son of William T. and Laura M. England. He married Mary Frances Stephenson June 26, 1948. She preceded him in death February 26, 2003. He married Lola F. Caffee Edwards July 10, 2004. She survives.
Also surviving are sons, Billy W. (Peggy) England of Columbus and Terry A. (JoAnn) England of Columbus; sisters, Thelma (James) Wilson of Columbus and Zelma Fields of Arizona; stepchildren, Larry (Dawn) Edwards of Michigan, Danny (Treva) Edwards of Taylorsville, Randy (Burt) Edwards of Taylorsville and Denice (Stan) Reeves of North Vernon; five grandchildren; 10 great- grandchildren; and several step-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife; brothers, W.L. and Carlton England; and a son, Jerry L. England.
