Thomas "Two Dog Tom" Mathis, 68, of County Road 500W, died at 6:21 p.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Tom retired in 2001 from Cummins Engine Company where he had worked for 37 years. He was a member of Model "A" Restorers Club and Diesel Workers Union.
He was owner of Two Dog Tom Golf Cart Sales & Service, enjoyed fishing and being with family, especially his grandchildren and his dogs, Corky and Snoopy.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Minister of the Gospel Larry Bogard officiating. Friends may call from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday and from 9 a.m. to time of service Monday. Burial will be at Riverview Cemetery in Seymour.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.

Born in Seymour, November 19, 1944, Tom was the son of Joseph and Roselina Hull Mathis.
Survivors include his children, Sheryl Moore and Greg (Heather) Mathis, both of Columbus; brothers, Robert (Sharon) Mathis, Ronald "Duke" (Linda) Mathis and Mike (Jenny) Mathis, all of Seymour; a sister, Pat "Sis" Mathis of Seymour; and grandchildren, Julie (Zech) Riggs, Jacob Mathis, Olivia Fuel, Chase Mathis, Connor Mathis and Chance Mathis.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Thomas D. Mathis.
