Loretta J. King, 76, of Columbus, died at 8:12 a.m. Wednesday, June 19, 2013, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Loretta loved shopping and collecting dolls and loved people, especially babies. She had many friends and a determined spirit despite the challenges she faced.
A graveside service will be at 2:30 p.m. Saturday at Garland Brook Cemetery. Calling will be from 12:30 p.m. until service time at Myers-Reed Chapel on 25th Street.
Memorials contributions may be made to the donor's choice of charities.
Born in North Vernon, July 17, 1936, Loretta was the daughter of Ira Irvin and Alice Hostettler King.
Survivors include a sister, Mildred Bumbalough of Kettering, Ohio; brothers, Sherman King of Kettering and Fred King of Colorado Springs, Colo; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Alice Upton and Violet Clerken; and a brother, Ralph King.
