George Lewis Schinnerer, 61, of Anderson, passed away on June 28, 2013 at the St. Vincent Anderson Regional Hospital Anderson, IN. He was born on August 30, 1951 in Anderson, Indiana and resided there all of his life.
He retired from General Motors. He was also co- owner of Twin Lakes in Columbus, IN.
He enjoyed fishing, hunting and collecting gasoline memorabilia.
George is survived by his loving spouse of 32 years, Grace (Kinney) Schinnerer of Anderson, IN, children, Paul (Bonnie) Schinnerer of Winnie,TX, Chris Schinnerer of Naples, FL, Lela Buck of Anderson, IN, Jonathan (Mindy) LaPierre of Frankton; sisters, Brenda (Ralph) Wright of Livingston, TX, & Barbara Bilbrey of Anderson, IN; grandchildren, Brennen, Kiersten and Kaylee Schinnerer, Devon and Chase Keihn, Alexis and Saige Buck and Kelby and Kinley LaPierre as well as beloved pets Kaycee and Sammie.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Virginia (Huber) Schinnerer, father, Lewis Schinnerer and favorite uncle, Sidney Huber.
Visitation will be held from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Robert D. Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, Anderson, Indiana with a memorial service at 11:30 a.m. with Fr. Mark officiating
