Tanya Covert Frazee, 36, of Shelbyville, died at 10:01 p.m. Friday, June 28, 2013, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
She was born in Columbus, March 19, 1977, the daughter of Tom Covert of Columbus and Teresa Fiesbeck Covert of Hope.
Tanya had a special place in her heart for animals, previously working as a Veterinary Technician at Hope Veterinary Clinic for several years. She loved people, most importantly those she currently worked with at Honda in Greensburg. Tanya was an avid Colts fan, and loved her family. She especially enjoyed watching the children she loved in their activities.
In addition to her parents, Tanya is survived by sons, Trevor and Ethan Frazee, both of Hope; a brother, Tim Covert of Seymour; a sister, Tara (Luke) Manley of Hope; her grandmother, Thelma Fiesbeck of Hope; her beloved partner, Benny Thompson Jr., of Shelbyville; and nieces, Danielle and Mackenzie Covert and Abigail and Leah Manley.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Bill and Mary Covert and Don Fiesbeck.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with Pastor Jerry Turner officiating. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and from 9 a.m. until service time Tuesday at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Trevor & Ethan Fund through the funeral home or Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
