Terrace Lake Road
Keith L. Harris, 80, of Terrace Lake Road, passed from this life at 11:55 p.m. Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at his home.
Mr. Harris was a 1951 graduate of Columbus High School and studied Drafting at Franklin College for two years.
A U.S. Air Force veteran, he was stationed in Germany during the Korean Conflict.
Mr. Harris was a salvage engineer at Cummins Engine Company retiring in 1985 after 32 years of service.
He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Columbus and the Edinburgh American Legion Post and the VFW Post.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Chris Lantz officiating. Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 10 a.m. until service time Saturday.
Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh with full military rites.

Born in Columbus October 31, 1932, Mr. Harris was the son of Tevis and Katherine Rockwell Harris. Keith married Lena M. Curry December 24, 1957. She preceded him in death March 24, 2013.
Survivors include his children, Julie A. Hupp, Jane L. Harris (Greg Exner), and Thomas M. Harris all of Columbus; a granddaughter, Barri M. (Jose) Lozano of Columbus; great-granddaughters, Sophia and Emilee; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Mr. Harris was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a sister, Regina Harris; a brother, Edgar Harris; and a nephew, Randal Harris.
