Juanita Lazzell-Bourland, 77, of Maple Street, died at 6:50 a.m. Monday, July 15, 2013, at Columbus Regional Hospital.

Juanita was a member of Neighborhood Church of God. She formerly worked at Sap's Bakery, Stark Realty and RCA in Bloomington and also was a realtor with Century 21.

Funeral service will be at 6 p.m. Wednesday at Columbus Baptist Church with Sam Harrington, Jim Albertson and Scott Bourland officiating. Calling will be from 3 p.m. until service time Wednesday at the church.

Memorial contributions may be made to the American Diabetes Association.

Born in Brown County Oct. 11, 1935, Juanita was the daughter of William Charles Johnson and Thelma Winifred Woodmansee Lazzell. She married Donald Bourland May 22, 2004.

Survivors include her husband; a son, Charles Robert Lazzell of New Mexico; daughters, Cathy (Kent) Molen of Columbus, Cathy Jo Cooley of Columbus, and Karen Sue (Joe) Floyd of Salisbury, IN; a stepson, Scott (Missy) Bourland of Bloomington; a stepdaughter, Donna (Ken) Clark of Edinburgh; brothers, Robert (Pam) Johnson of Nashville, IN, Charles Johnson of Nashville, IN, John Lazzell of Edinburgh, Nelson Johnson of Kokomo, and Junior Lazzell of Nashville, IN; sisters, Winifred (Gary) Cave of Trafalgar and Betty (Dean) Mullis of Taylorsville; 20 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a son,  Ricky Lee Lazzell; a daughter, Becky Schleicher; brothers, Jim Lazzell, William Johnson and Harry Johnson; a sister, Patricia Hamilton; and a granddaughter, Lisa Collins.
