Ivan G. Johnson, 58, of Union Street, died at 3:25 p.m. Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at Kindred Hospital South in Greenwood.
Ivan had worked for the Columbus City Utilities and later worked for the Indiana Gas Company.
A Harley-Davidson motorcycle enthusiast, Ivan was a member of the ABATE Motorcycle Association and had served as Secretary for the local association.
Family and friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Monday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street. A funeral service is not planned.
Cremation will take place following the visitation.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Ivan G. Johnson memorial fund through the funeral home.

Born in Columbus July 13, 1955, Ivan was the son of John B. and Dorothy M. Richey Johnson.
Survivors include a daughter, Clarisa Johnson of Columbus; sisters, Paula (Buford) Madden of Scipio, Diana Hopkins and Denise (Johnny) Brown, both of Columbus; a brother, Duncan Johnson of Columbus; and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
Ivan was preceded in death by his parents and a son, Nickolas Johnson.
