William H. Sultan, 87, of Columbus, died at 9:08 p.m. Sunday, July 21, 2013, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
Mr. Sultan retired in 1982 from the Columbus Post Office where he had worked for 33 years. He was member of First Christian Church and an Army Air Force veteran of World War II.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral on Washington Street. Friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday and from 9 a.m. to time of service Friday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.

Born in Columbus November 29, 1925, Mr. Sultan was the son of Fred M. and Marjorie Lucile Reeves Sultan. He married Betty A. Doty May 22, 1970.
Survivors include his wife and a son, Fred (Larissa) Sultan of Michigan.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
