Daniel Lee Reveal, 52, of Leitchfield, KY, formerly of Seymour, went home to heaven on Saturday, July 27, 2013, after a short illness.
Born October 15, 1960, in Columbus, IN, he was the son of the late Jack Lee Reveal and Eva L. (Tindell) Reveal Hunter, who survives. He lived most of his life in Seymour, graduating from Seymour High School in 1979, and went on to attend the University of Indianapolis where he earned a Master's Degree. He served in the Army Reserve and the National Guard for several years and was employed as office manager at Hunter's Woodworking business.
He is survived by his mother, Eva Reveal-Hunter; stepfather, Charles Hunter; sister, Debra Reveal-Loper (Jerry); nieces, Amanda Eve and Misty Dawn; great-nieces and a great-nephew, Mariah Eve, Emma Jane and Jacob Lee; aunts, Sandra Tindell, Karen Tindell, and Betty DeHaven; a great-aunt, Maggie Rigsby; several cousins; and a special friend, Kim.
He was preceded in death by his father; paternal grandparents, Edward and Opal Reveal; and maternal grandparents, Roy and Minnie Tindell Mettert.
Funeral services will be held at Voss Chapel on Wednesday, July 31, at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Rick Wilson officiating. Friends and family may call at Voss Chapel on Wednesday from 10:00 a.m. until time of service. Burial will follow at Riverview Cemetery.
