Dorothy R. Seaborne, 82, of 25th Street, died at 3:50 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 13, 2013, at the University of Louisville Hospital.
Dorothy was a founding member of Central Heights Church of God. She had been employed at Arvin Industries, retiring in 1994 after 34 years of service.
She enjoyed going on vacations with her siblings throughout the years and loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 10 a.m. Saturday at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home with the Rev. James Walters and the Rev. Nathan Greene officiating. Calling will be from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the service Saturday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Central Heights Church of God.
Born in Adair County, Ky., Sept. 26, 1930, Dorothy was the daughter of Silas A. Tedder and Nettie E. Hamm Tedder. She married Herman Seaborne Feb.12, 1949.

Dorothy was also looking forward to meeting her two new great-granddaughters due this fall
She was preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Elma Rouse, Celestine Redman and Nora Jewel.
