Dennis A. Cohee, 67, of Chapa Drive, died at 10:45 a.m. Thursday, August 22, 2013, at Silver Oaks Health Campus. Born in Columbus May 29, 1946, he was the son of Clarence F. and Helen Mitchell Cohee.
Dennis was a six-year member of the Indiana National Guard and was honorably discharged December 3, 1971. He worked at Cummins Engine Company for 30 years, retiring in 1996, and enjoyed fishing and golfing. An avid bowler, Dennis was able to achieve the ultimate perfect game.
He is survived by a sister, Clarice A. Joslin of Columbus; a niece, Sherri (Randy) Duckworth of Columbus; a nephew, Mark S. (Mary) Joslin of Columbus; and great-nieces and nephews, Sarah Cusack, Ben Joslin, and Timothy Cohee Duckworth.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents and an infant twin brother, Douglas.
A private graveside service will be held at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh. There will be no calling hours.
