Karen G. Fultz McCombs, 75, of Columbus, died at 5:37 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 3, 2013 at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
Karen was a former employee of Cosco, Ivy Tech and was a longtime cook at Clifford Elementary School. The was a former active member of PWP, loved to knit and crochet and was an avid NBA fan.
In keeping with Karen's wishes, there will be no services. Cremation is planned.
Memorials may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
Myers-Reed Chapel on 25th Street was in charge of the arrangements.
She was born Aug. 2, 1938 in Columbus, the daughter of Claude and Madelin McClintic Voorhees.
Survivors include daughters, Lisa (David Slimko) Saylor of Columbus, Christy (J.D.) Fox of Dallas, TX; a son, Robin Fultz of Idaho; brother, Richard (Marguerite) Ropp of New Jersey; a sister, Patricia Flowers of Indianapolis, brother, James (Sandy) Ropp of Texas; sister, Peggy (Bob) Allman of Miami, FL; grandchildren, Megan (Dustyn) Murray, Melissa (Barney) Coffman of Columbus and Derek Fox of Texas; seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
