Mildred Aileen Joslin, 90, of Columbus, formerly or Rockville, passed away Thursday, September 19, 2013, at Willow Crossing in Columbus.
Born February 6, 1923, she was the daughter of Albert and Carrie McCampbell. Her husband of 69 years, Carmel E. Joslin, preceded her in death on September 7, 2011.
Mrs. Joslin was a 1941 graduate of Marshall High School. Early in her life she was employed as a telephone operator by Bell Telephone. She was a member of Columbus First Baptist Church and a former member of Rockville First Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, antiques, and spending time with her family.
Survivors include two daughters, Bonnie (Ed) O'Brien of Crown Point and Carol (Paul) Poe of Columbus; four grandchildren, Jennifer (Dan) Hanzel of Crown Point, Mary Ellen (Trent) Trump of Crown Point, Ellen (Sean) Rasor of Greenfield, and Derek Poe of Greenwood; and three great-grandchildren, Amanda Hanzel, Matthew Hanzel, and Ethan Trump.
One sister, Dorothy Grubb, and one brother, Parke McCampbell, preceded her in death.
Services will be Monday, September 23, 2013, at 2 p.m. at Butler Funeral Home, 218 N. College St., Rockville, with the Rev. Dan Cash officiating. Visitation will be from noon until service time Monday. Burial will follow at Memory Garden Cemetery in Rockville.
