Lou Ann England, 76, of Edinburgh, died at 1:59 a.m. Thursday, Sept. 26, 2013, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
Lou Ann loved making quilts and going to church. She also loved spending time with her family and was a loving mother and grandmother.
Funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home, with the Rev. Orville Turner officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and one hour prior to the service Tuesday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
Born in Glasgow, Ky., June 16, 1937, Lou Ann was the daughter of Bill Chapman and Elizabeth Emmitt Chapman. She married Bobby England Jan. 11, 1982. He survives.
Also surviving are sons, Ron (Marilyn) Chapman, John Young, Carl Richardson Jr., and Ron (Brandy) Richardson, all of Columbus, and Cavin (Katrina) England of North Vernon, IN; daughters, Janice (Dennis) Chaplin, Anita (Rex Baker) Young, Linda (Lee) Leonard and Becki Hatfield, all of Columbus, IN; four brothers; four sisters; 39 grandchildren; and 28 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and six sisters.
