Terrace Lake Drive
Sharon Kay Renner, 78, of Terrace Lake Drive, passed from this life at 11:22 a.m. Thursday, September 26, 2013 at Four Seasons Health Care Center.
Mrs. Renner was a 1953 graduate of Columbus High School and she attended Hanover College.
A homemaker, Mrs. Renner enjoyed membership at First Christian Church, Daughters of the American Revolution, Columbus Arts Guild, Columbus Antique Club, and Columbus Saddle Club.
She was an avid artist and enjoyed traveling with family and friends and horseback riding.
The funeral will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Monday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with David Burnett officiating.
Family and friends may call from 1 to 5 p.m. Sunday and from 1:30 p.m. until service time Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
The family asks that memorial contributions be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana or the Alzheimer's Association.

Born in Columbus June 10, 1935, Mrs. Renner was the daughter of Ralph and Edna Eddleman Talkington. She married Keith Renner July 22, 1956.
Mrs. Renner is survived by her husband of 57 years; her children, David Renner of Denver, NC, Jeffrey Renner of Jackson County, and Lisa Hurley of Columbus; grandchildren, Allie, Tim, and Lynsey Renner, Victoria Anderson, and Jackson Hurley; and nephews, Greg (Kris) Renner and Barry (Edwina) Renner of Columbus.
Mrs. Renner was preceded in death by her parents and a grandson, Eric Renner.
