Barbara A. Wooten, 75, of Taylorsville, died at 7:33 a.m. Wednesday, October 2, 2013, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
A homemaker, Barbara was a member of Hawcreek Missionary Baptist Church, enjoyed gardening and loved animals.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Friday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Danny Coomer officiating. Family and friends may call from 11 a.m. until service time Friday. Burial will be at Daughtery Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.

Barbara was born in Edmonson County, Kentucky, February 7, 1938, the daughter of Everett and Alma Lindsey Coates. She married Gwinn L. Wooten on June 14, 1991.
Survivors include her husband; children, Richard Hayes of Washington, Terri (Jeff) Lazzell of Indianapolis, and Robert (Lisa) Hayes of Franklin; a stepdaughter, Crystal (Jaime) Pruitt of Reddington; her twin brother, Bobby Allen Coates of Irvington, KY; 13 grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Everett Coates; mother, Alma Reynolds; brothers, Herman, Hairm and Edward Coates; a sister, Magdeline Coates; a daughter, Alma JoAnn Lundy; and a granddaughter, Rose Hayes.
