Frances Kay Dunbar, 65, of Tannehill Road, died at 5:29 p.m. Friday, October 4, 2013 at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Frances was born on August 31, 1948 in Columbus to the late Jesse A. and Retta Mae Carmer Stillabower. She married Gary B. Dunbar on May 3, 1969 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Frances attended Columbus North High School and was a member of the Vineyard Community Church in Greenwood. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, and trivia. Frances loved spending time with her family and friends.
A funeral service will be conducted at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Amy Kern-Smith officiating.
Family and friends may call from 9 a.m. until service time Wednesday at the funeral home.
Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.

Frances is survived by her husband, Gary B. Dunbar; daughter, Janay (Joe) Smith of Taylorsville; two brothers and a sister, Dorance Stillabower of Columbus, Rebecca Stillinger of North Vernon, and Matt (Cindy) Stillabower of Edinburgh; a granddaughter, Elizabeth Smith; and 28 nephews and nieces.
Frances was preceded in death by her parents.
