Donald E. "Squeaky" Burton, 76, of McKinley Avenue, died at 8:25 p.m. Tuesday, October 8, 2013, at his home.
Mr. Burton retired from Conrail Railroad after many years of service. He enjoyed membership at Columbus Moose Lodge and Eagles Lodge. An avid NASCAR fan, he had a passion for talking on his CB radio and playing cards.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street. Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and from 9 a.m. until service time Saturday. Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.

Born in Columbus August 3, 1937, Mr. Burton was the son of Ed and Maddie Campfield Burton. He married Beatrice M. Ballard December 7, 1957. She preceded him in death April 2, 2007.
Survivors include his daughters, Cathy (Ivan) Greer and Brenda Woods, both of Columbus; a granddaughter, Jerra (Chris) Tungate of Columbus; a great-grandson, Alijah Christopher Tungate of Columbus; and a brother, Frank "Wendy" Burton of Columbus.
Mr. Burton was preceded in death by his parents; his wife; a son, Ricky E. Burton; and several brothers and sisters.
