Mary M. Finke, 85, of Hope, died at 12:55 a.m., Saturday, October 12, 2013 at Silver Oaks Health Campus.

Mrs. Finke was a homemaker, member of Grace Lutheran Church, Friendly Neighbors Extension Homemakers and Lutheran Women's Missionary League.

The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Grace Lutheran Church with Pastor John W. Armstrong officiating.

Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street and 9 a.m. to time of service Tuesday at the church.

Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made Lutheran Women's Missionary League or Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.

Mary was born in Columbus, November 3, 1927, the daughter of Willard and Lillian Wint Schwartzkopf.

She married Harold W. Finke on September 29, 1946.

Survivors include her husband of 67 years, Harold Finke; children, Lynn (Debbie) Finke of Columbus and Barbara (Don) Sigman of Hope; a brother, David (Joanne) Schwartzkopf of Decatur County; sisters, Jeanette Finke of Hope, Evelyn (Kenneth) White and Ruthann (Earl) Stam, both of Columbus; grandchildren, Alyssa (Peter) Olson and Kristine Finke both of Atlanta; great-grandchildren, Synnove and Seija Olson, both of Atlanta; stepgrandsons, Greg (Sarah) Sigman of Sherburne, N.Y. and Doug Sigman of Hope; and stepgreat-grandchildren, Macy, Mackenzie, Rylan and Nolan Sigman.

She was preceded in death by her parents; a brother, Clarence Schwartzkopf; a son, Larry Finke; and a son-in-law, Doug Wainscott.
