Roger L. Perry, 67 of Columbus, died at 7:59 p.m., Friday, October 11, 2013 at Columbus Regional Hospital.
Roger retired from construction and enjoyed bailing hay, playing cards, and spending time with family especially his grandchildren.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Roy Hendershot officiating.
Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and from 9 a.m. to time of service Thursday.
Burial will be at Daugherty Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Walker Chapel Church or the Bartholomew County Public Library.

Roger was born in Columbus on October 27, 1945, the son of Samuel R. and Elizabeth J. McKinney Perry.
He married Wilma J. Barnett on September 18, 1965; she preceded him in death on September 5, 2012.
Survivors include his sons, Todd A. (Stacie) Perry and Toby L. (Courtney) Perry, both of Columbus; brothers, Larry (Linda) Perry and Mike Perry, both of Columbus; a sister, Judy Fisher of Columbus; grandchildren, Jerimey (Autumn) Perry, Kristy (Justin) Perry, Erika (Nathanial) Curry, Dylan Perry, Chance Ault, Tyrannie Moore and Beth Ann Perry; and several great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, wife and brothers Ed, Rex and Bob Perry.
