Elizabeth C. Ferguson, 96, of Columbus died at 8:45 a.m. on Friday, October 18, 2013 at Kindred Transitional Care and Rehabilitation of Columbus.
Elizabeth was born in Mt. Sterling, Kentucky on July 1, 1917 to the late Lewis and Verta Wallace Bridges. She married Murray J. Ferguson, who preceded her in death in 1970. Elizabeth was a realtor for 49 years, prize winning floral arranger for the Kentucky State Fair in Louisville, and a ranked Bridge player. She owned thoroughbred racing horses and loved traveling, the library at the church and spending time with her family.
A memorial service will be held at a later date at Beargrass Christian Church in Louisville, Kentucky.

Survivors include her son, Ron (Cheryl) Ferguson of Nashville; sister, Lucille Meska of Dayton, Ohio; four grandchildren, Perry Ferguson, Ann Ferguson, Wendiellen McGana, and Robbin Rhoton; and seven great-grandchildren.
Elizabeth is preceded in death by her husband, Murray J. Ferguson; and sisters, Lee Trowbridge and Pauline Tipton.
Arrangements were entrusted to Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home.
