Jason M. Woodcock, 38, of Bayberry Drive, died at 3:30 a.m. Friday, October 25, 2013 at his home.
Jason was formerly employed at Councellor Machinery in Columbus and he was a self-employed handyman and carpenter.
An avid outdoorsman, Jason enjoyed fishing.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with the Rev. Virl Murray officiating.
Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday and from noon until service time Tuesday.
Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Brown County Humane Society.

Born in Slayton, Minnesota July 11, 1975, Jason was the son of Max and Elaine VanMeveren Woodcock.
Survivors include his parents of Columbus; a brother, Steve (Joy) Woodcock of Columbus; a sister, Christi (Mike) Kelp of Seymour; grandparents, Billy Woodcock of Columbus and Dorothy VanMeveren of Iona, Minn.; his companion, Lucinda Valentine of Columbus; step-children, David Valentine, Brian George, Amber Harris, Catherine Goff, and Holly Carmer, all of Columbus; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives.
Jason was preceded in death by grandparents, Linda Woodcock and Robert VanMeveren.
