Dale Branstetter, 87, of South Jonesville Road, died at 9:01 p.m. Sunday, October 27, 2013, at his home.
Dale retired in 1981 after 30 years of service with Cummins Engine Company where he was a tool maker. He was a member of Garden City Church of Christ and was a former minister.
He enjoyed fishing, farming and raising Black Angus Cattle.
The funeral will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Friday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street with Virgil Clotfelter officiating. Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday and from 12:30 p.m. until time of service Friday at the funeral home. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.

Born in Chapin, IL, January 6, 1926, Dale was the son of Howard T. and Anna Holley Branstetter. He married Beulah M. Snyder on June 16, 1944.
Survivors include his wife; children, Ed (Mary) Branstetter of Columbus, Kathryn (Terry) Wisdom of Columbus, Brenda (Mike) Engelking of Huntsville, AL, Rick (Becky) Branstetter of Scipio, and Marvin (Darlene) Branstetter of Elizabethtown; sisters, Frances Perkins and Betty Roller, both Louisville, KY.; 15 grandchildren; 28 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Richard Branstetter; sisters, Lucy Lewis, Mary Jo Gish and Ora Mae Cochran; and a grandson, Stephen Dale Wisdom.
