Grace Louise Myers, 91, of Edinburgh, died at 4:42 p.m. Monday, Nov. 4, 2013, at her home, surrounded by many of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren as they sang and worshipped the Lord.
Funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Edinburgh Apostolic Tabernacle, 701 S. Main St., Edinburgh, with the Rev. Ray Brown and the Rev. Gary Streeval officiating. Calling will be at the church from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday and one hour prior to the service Saturday. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
Memorial contributions may be made to Edinburgh Apostolic Tabernacle.
Arrangements were entrusted to Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.
Born in Brown County April 9, 1922, Mrs. Myers was the daughter of Ellsworth Crouch and Beulah Hobbs Crouch. On May 22, 1940, she married Grover Jack Myers, pastor and founder of Apostolic Tabernacle and local home builder. He preceded her in death Nov. 1, 2004.
She is survived by sons, James Leon (Jackie) Myers of Edinburgh, IN, Stephen Wesley (Nancy) Myers of Plainfield, IN, Timothy Jack Myers of Edinburgh, IN, Paul Eugene (Bonnie L.) Myers of Columbus, IN, Pastor Mark J. (Elizabeth) Myers of Edinburgh, IN, and Nathan R. (Barbara A.) Myers of Franklin, IN; a daughter, Marcella Dorette (Ron) Schoolcraft of Columbus, IN; a brother, Jacob (Barbara) Crouch of Florida; a sister, Alice Fleetwood of Columbus, IN; 26 grandchildren; 45 great-grandchildren; and 13 great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a stepson, Nolan Earl Myers; a brother, Cloyce Dale Crouch; a sister, Imogene Hogan; and six grandchildren.
