Brayton Andrew Thompson, 81, of Edinburgh, died at 12:15 p.m. Thursday, Nov. 7, 2013, at Prairie Village.
Mr. Thompson was a 1949 graduate of Washington High School and was a construction business owner. He was a member of Bethel Holiness Church.
Funeral will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Gill Funeral Home in Washington with the Rev. Robert Thompson and Nathan Shockley officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Monday. Burial will be at Oakgrove Cemetery.

Born in Washington Sept. 20, 1932, Mr.Thompson was the son of Bruce Cameron Thompson and Julia McFarland Thompson. He married Imogene Krodel July 28, 1951.
Survivors include his wife; three daughters, Marsha (James) Blake of Washington, Annette Thompson of Columbus and Angela Mickelson of Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; a brother, the Rev. Robert Thompson; two sisters, Marcella Baker of Garden Grove, Calif., and Freida Traylor of Washington; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a daughter, two brothers and one sister.
