Marguerite Rae "Maggy" Shreiner, 93, died at 2:10 p.m. Friday, November 8, 2013, at Four Seasons Health Care Center.
Maggy was born in Canton, Illinois, November 24, 1919, the daughter of Clyde and Alyce Wilcoxen. She married Harry E. Shreiner Jr. in 1938. He preceded her in death in 1995.
Maggy served as head bookkeeper for Montgomery Ward in Elkhart, Indiana. She was a former resident of Columbus, Ohio, where she was a member of the Investment Club and Scioto Country Club, and also formerly lived in White Pigeon, Michigan; and Sarasota, Florida.
Survivors include a son, Gary Shreiner of St. Charles, MO; a daughter, Lynne (Edward) Sullivan of Columbus, IN; grandsons, Ryan (Sarah) Sullivan of High Point, NC, and Joel (Brooke) Sullivan of Grass Valley, CA; a great-granddaughter, Sakara Sullivan of Grass Valley, CA; a great-grandson, Kelwynn Sullivan, and a great-granddaughter, Allanah Sullivan of High Point, NC; Ted Pino, a family friend, of St. Charles, MO; and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, and a sister, Anna Blanche Livinghouse.
A memorial service will be held in the mausoleum at Rice Cemetery in Elkhart, Indiana, at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 30, 2013.
