B. Lucille Siscoe, 88, of Columbus, passed from this life at 2:15 a.m. Monday, November 18, 2013, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
A homemaker, Mrs. Siscoe had been employed at Crane Naval Depot, was a nurse's aide at Sullivan Hospital and had been a media carrier. She was a member of Apostolic Hope Tabernacle and she loved music, singing, gardening, and farming.
She was a cancer survivor of over 45 years.
The funeral will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at Soul's Harbor Church, 7217 U.S. Highway 41 North, Shelburn, IN ,with Pastors Dale Goddard and Darren Thrasher officiating. Family and friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street and from 11 a.m. until service time Thursday at the church in Shelburn. Burial will be at Center Ridge Cemetery in Sullivan.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.

Born in Sullivan County March 11, 1925, Mrs. Siscoe was the daughter of Benjamin and Bertha Ault Riggs. She married Ernest J. Siscoe June 2, 1945. He preceded her in death July 9, 1968.
Survivors include her children, Donald (Loretta) Siscoe of Sullivan, Mary Laffoon of Columbus, Rebecca (Bill) Laffoon of Danville, and Ruth (Delane) Smith of Danville; a brother, Allen Riggs of Terre Haute; nine grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Siscoe was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a sister, Irene Thompson; and brothers, Charles and Ben Riggs.
