Versie M. (Littrell) Green Malone, ,of Seymour, IN, formerly of Columbus, IN, entered eternal life at 3:48 a.m. Wednesday, November 27, 2013. at Seymour Crossing Nursing Home.
Versie was born December 26, 1921, in Celina, TN, the daughter of the late Fred Thomas and Missie Grace Littrell. She married Charlie G. Green July 2, 1939, in Union Hill, TN, and he preceded her in death on September 4, 1993. She married Kenneth Malone October 20, 1996 in Columbus, IN. and he preceded her in death on June 29, 1998.
Versie was a homemaker. She attended Lowell General Baptist Church and East Columbus Separate Baptist Church.
The funeral service celebrating her life will be conducted at 10:00 a.m. Monday, December 2, ,at Myers-Reed Chapel on 25th Street, with Rev. Larry Fields officiating. Calling hours will be from 1:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. Sunday and from 9:00 a.m. until the time of the service on Monday. Burial will be in Garland Brook Cemetery.

Versie is survived by two sons, Shafer (Barbara) Green of Macon, GA, and Ray Green of Medora, IN; a daughter, Pamela (Michael) Black of Seymour, IN; four brothers, Fowler and Doug Littrell, both of Columbus, IN, Louis Littrell of Scipio, IN, and Clyde Littrell of Marion, IN; a sister, Gladys Cross of Moss, TN; seven grandchildren; and several great- and great-great-grandchildren.
Along with her parents and two husbands, Versie was also preceded in death by a granddaughter; three sisters, Ruby Hammond, Lexi Oren and Earsie Likens; and three brothers, Carl, Arlie and Clearl Littrell.
