Junior Lee Wells, 65, of Westport, died Saturday, Nov. 30, 2013, at the VA Medical Center in Indianapolis.
Junior was a self-employed subcontractor, a U.S. Army veteran and the recipient of two Purple Hearts. He enjoyed playing the guitar and singing, gardening and fixing things.
The funeral will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday at Norman Funeral Home in Hope. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will be at Bearcreek Cemetery with military graveside services.
Memorial contributions may be made to Greensburg American Legion.
Born April 7, 1948, in Greensburg, Junior was the son of Henry Lee and Amanda Ruby Scott Wells.
Survivors include two sons, Hershel Junior (Kellie) Wells of North Vernon and Trouble Wells of Texas; five grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and siblings, Jewell (David) Ciesiolka of Taylorsville, Corine Anderson of
Westport, Wilma (Bill) Beggs of North Vernon, Michael Wells of Columbus, Debby (Bill) Bowman of Columbus and Tim (Debbie) Wells of Uniontown.
Junior was preceded in death by his parents and brothers, Leonard and Dale Wells.
