Hazel Corbin, 86, of Columbus, died at 2:30 a.m. Tuesday, Dec. 3, 2013, at Four Seasons Retirement Center.
Mrs. Corbin was a member of First Church of the Nazarene in Columbus and enjoyed going to garage sales.
Funeral service will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Eskew-Eaton Funeral Home in Edinburgh with the Rev. Damon Spurgeon officiating. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday. Burial will be at Rest Haven Cemetery in Edinburgh.
Memorial contributions may be made to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
Born in Adair County, Ky., May 25, 1927, Mrs. Corbin was the daughter of Frank M. Burton and Mauty Ellen Goodin Burton. She married George F. Corbin July 4, 1946. He preceded her in death March 27, 2005.
Survivors include sons, Harold "Gene"Corbin of Whittier, N.C., and George Michael (Teresa) Corbin of Columbus; a brother, Lester (Leona) Burton of Franklin; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and one great-great-granddaughter.
She was preceded in death by a brother, Alvin Burton; and sisters, Clara M. Streeval, Patricia DeBaun and Emma E. Streeval.
