Chrystal M. Pushor, 81, of Columbus, died at 2:59 p.m. Wednesday, December 4, at Community Hospital South in Indianapolis.
A member of St. Bartholomew Catholic Church, she retired in 2010 from Developmental Services Inc. where she was a registered nurse. She was involved with Columbus Human Rights Commission from 2000 to 2006, Volunteers in Medicine from 1996 to 2005, and Leadership Bartholomew County Alumni Association since 1984. She also was formerly active in many organizations in Columbus.
An avid golfer, she could be found daily playing at Par Three Golf Course.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at St. Bartholomew Catholic Church with Father Clem Davis officiating. Family and friends may call from 2 to 5 p.m. Sunday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street and from 9 a.m. until service time Monday at the church. Cremation is planned.
Memorial contributions may be made to Volunteers in Medicine.

Chrystal was born in Kankakee, Illinois, on July 9, 1932, the daughter of William M. and Frances Lozier Johnson.
Survivors include her children, Larry Pushor of Columbus, John (Katie) Pushor of Scottsdale, Arizona, Cathy (Stan) Franke of Columbus, Peggy (Mitch) Stam of Columbus, and Mary Deckard of Columbus; grandchildren, Jeremy (Stephanie) Pushor, Jessica (Justin) Benton, Ross Pushor, Rebecca (Rob) Turner, Gregory Pushor, Samantha Sanchez, Erinn Pushor, Kaytlyn Sanchez, Parker Pushor, Bailey Deckard and Lauren Deckard; and great-grandchildren, Sophia Pushor, Charlotte Halstead, Dominik Keaton and Alivia Turner.
She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Barbara Nord.
