Mary Magdalene Shroyer, 95, of County Road 300S, died at 3:35 p.m. Monday, December 9, 2013, at her home.
Mary was a homemaker and enjoyed reading, writing letters and being with family.
The funeral will be conducted at 11 a.m. Friday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Jonathan Moore Pike with the Rev. Wesley Jones officiating. Family and friends may call from 4 to 7 p.m. Thursday and from 10 a.m. until service time Friday. Burial will be at Bethel Baptist Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Bartholomew County Public Library.

Born in Martin County, Indiana, on August 6, 1918, Mary was the daughter of Everett and Pearl Wagner Kendall. She married William R. Shroyer on February 26, 1938. He preceded her in death on June 16, 1980.
Survivors include her daughters, Mary Katherine (Henry Jung) Shroyer, Karen L. Londeree and Ruth E. Shroyer, all of Columbus; a sister, Clara Thompson of Columbus; grandchildren, Brent (Tina Lynch) Londeree of Columbus and Kelley Londeree Cull of Columbus; and great-grandchildren, Levi Londeree, Baleigh Londeree, Nicklas Cull, Payton Londeree, Asher Londeree and Taryn Czereszko.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and brothers, James and Everett Kendall.
Our family does have the knowledge that our mother, grandmother and great-grandmother was a follower of Christ and we know she is with him now.
