Charles H. Vogel, 77, of Four Corners, died Wednesday, Dec. 18, 2013 at his residence.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph’s Catholic Church at Four Corners with the Rev. Jonathan Meyer officiating. Burial will be at St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday at Sawyer-Pickett Funeral & Cremation Service in North Vernon.
Memorials may be made to St. Joseph’s Catholic Church.
Mr. Vogel is survived by his wife, Beverly Wilkerson Vogel; sons, Michael Vogel of Henryville and Scott (Heather) Vogel of North Vernon; daughters, Melissa (Tom) Skirvin of Vevay and Barbara (Scott) Walker of Indianapolis; brothers, Tom Vogel of Hayden, Leonard Vogel of Madison, Paul Vogel of Hayden, Bob Vogel of Commiskey, David Carr of Sellersburg, and Henry Carr of Hayden; sisters, Anna Mae Raver of Oldenburg, Kathlene Baurley of North Vernon, Elizabeth Bridges of Hayden, Jeanette Heckman of Holland, Mich., Marie Laymon of Kent, Maria Tempest of Sellersburg, Joyce Vogel of Hayden, and Colleen Gerth of Seymour; 12 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two sons, Chris and Greg Vogel.
