John A. Repp, 60, of Hope, passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2013, at Columbus Regional Hospital.
John retired from driving a school bus for Bartholomew Consolidated School Corporation for over 20 years. He also drove a bus for Foundation For Youth for 6 years. In previous years he was a truck driver for David Calender, Kokomo Grain and Ivan Shinolt and also worked for Farm Bureau and Community Grain.
He was a member of Old Union United Church of Christ. He enjoyed driving the Columbus East Girls Basketball Team to away games for many years and also enjoyed camping.
The funeral will be Saturday at 10:00 a.m. at Norman Funeral Home in Hope with Pastor Kirby Rupp officiating. Visitation will be Friday from 4 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. Burial will be at Hope Moravian Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Old Union United Church of Christ.

Born March 9, 1953, in Indianapolis, John was the son of Donald W. and Doris Maxine Zigler Repp. He married Sue Hitchcock July 26, 1975, at Hope Moravian Church.
Survivors include his wife, of Hope; a daughter, Dore M. (Cory) Julian of Hope; a grandson, Kevin M. Julian of Hope; a sister, Nancy (Denny) Meyer of Taylorsville; a sister-in-law, Susan J. Repp of Taylorsville; and several nieces and nephews.
John was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Wayne Repp.
