Christine Emma Saylor Lossiah, 64, of Madison, died at 6:18 p.m. Monday, Dec. 23, 2013, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
Survivors include her mother, Helen M. Benbow of North Vernon; a daughter, Christina Martin of Cherokee, N.C.; sons, David Saylor of Madison, Michael Saylor of El Paso, Texas, Daniel Saylor of Sylva, N.C., Albert Saylor of Cherokee, Chittle Saylor of Madison, Neil Saylor of Cherokee, and Clint Lossiah of Madison; sisters, Viola Lane of Westport, Bonnie Hardebeck of Greensburg, Evelyn Beaty of Williford, Ark., and Diane Nelson of Michigan City; a brother, Albert G. Benbow of Trail Creek; and 11 grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her father, Albert L. Benbow; her husband, Charles Verlin Lossiah; and a son, Glenn Waire.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a.m. Saturday at Bass & Gasper Funeral Home in Westport with the Rev. David A. Scaggs officiating. Burial will be at Rockcreek Cemetery. Calling will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday.
Memorial contributions may be made through the funeral home to Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.
