Richard D. Hehman, 66, of Columbus, died at 10:20 a.m. Monday, December 30, 2013, at Our Hospice of South Central Indiana Inpatient Facility.
Richard was owner of AAA Striping from 1984 to 2011. He was a member of St. Peter's Lutheran Church in Columbus and was an Air Force veteran of the Vietnam War.
He enjoyed traveling with family, being outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
The funeral will be conducted at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Peter's Lutheran Church with the Rev. Patrick Galligar officiating. Family and friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Thursday at Barkes, Weaver & Glick Funeral Home on Washington Street and from 9 a.m. to time of service Friday at the church.
Burial will be at Garland Brook Cemetery with Military Rites conducted by the Bartholomew County Veterans Honor Guard.
Memorial contributions may be made to St. Peter's Lutheran Church or Our Hospice of South Central Indiana.

Born in Seymour, October 30, 1947, Richard was the son of Charles E. and Edna Pottschmidt Hehman. He married Ruth Anne Mulberry on February 11, 1968.
Survivors include his wife; children, Eric (Liz) Hehman of Canton, Ohio, and Angie (Jayme) Sondag of Indianapolis; and his grandchildren, Matthew and Micah Dean Hehman and Zoe and Griffin Sondag.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, James C. Hehman.
