Ray Ivan Browning Jr., 66, of Nashville, passed away Wednesday January 1, 2014, at 3:28 a.m. while sleeping at his home.
Ray was born August 5, 1947, to Ray and Orla Browning Sr. He was a loving family man who most recently enjoyed spending time with his six grandchildren, teaching them about the outdoors.
Ray was preceded in death by his son, Richard Ray Browning, and mother, Orla Vail Browning.
Survivors include his wife, Terry Browning; children, Lisa, David and Jonathan Browning; and grandchildren, Chandler, Kateleigh, Maddilyn, Willowdean, Preston and Berkley Browning. Other survivors include his father, Ray Browning Sr., and a sister, Teresa Baldwin of Greenwood.
A celebration of Ray’s life will be held at 2 p.m. January 12 at Valley Branch Retreat in Nashville, IN. For directions, please visit explorebrowncounty.com.
Ray asked for no flowers but instead asked that donations be made to the American Cancer Society on his behalf.
