Phillip Edward Wolfe, 57, of Austin, Indiana, passed away Sunday, January 5, 2014, at Norton's Hospital in Louisville, Kentucky.
He was born March 24, 1956, in Scottsburg, IN, to the late Alvin Edward Wolfe and Billie (Porter) Ruff. He married Lynette (Barrett) Wolfe, on October 26, 1974.
Mr. Wolfe was an employee of Faurecia in Columbus.
Survivors include his wife, Lynette Wolfe; sons, Matthew Wolfe, Austin, Indiana, and Mark Wolfe, Austin, Indiana; brothers, Willie Wolfe of Austin, Indiana, Wendall Wolfe of Scottsburg, Indiana, and Dean Miller of Scottsburg, Indiana; and sisters, Linda Terry of Scottsburg, Indiana, and Joyce Barnett of Austin, Indiana.
He is also survived by three grandchildren, Melissa Mullins, Kasey Brandenburg and Alexandra Wolfe, all of Austin.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father; a son, Phillip Wolfe; and a daughter, Kelli Wolfe.
Funeral service will be at 1 p.m. Thursday, January 9, 2014, at Buchanan Funeral Home in Austin, Indiana, with Sister Mary Bowles officiating. Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday and after 9 a.m. Thursday at Buchanan Funeral Home. Burial will be at Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Austin, Indiana.
